Redefining the modern office chair, Abilis integrates the backrest and armrests into a seamless open-loop structure that elegantly frames the seat. Developed in collaboration with ITO Design, its design reflects clarity, innovation, and a distinctly forward-looking aesthetic. Awarded the German Design Award 2026

Abilis Features:

• Abilis uses hexagonal loop frames to reduce materials
  while delivering strong, reliable back support.

• Fewer components make the chair easier to
  dismantle and recycle, lowering environmental
  impact.

• With a press of a button, Armrests can be adjusted in
  three dimensions. Height change through a 100mm
  (4”) range, pads 50mm (2”) angled up to 20o left &
  right.

• Adjust the reclining tension by turning the dial
  beneath the seat clockwise to increase tension
  and anticlockwise to reduce it.

• Easily adjustable for each user ensuring comfort and
  support, through seat height, depth and headrest
  functionality.

• 124 kg weight rating

How do I order from the website?

To make a selection, add a Quantity amount to your item and click ADD TO CART. Your shopping cart can be reviewed before your order is confirmed.

What do I do if I want to change my order?

You can change your order before you checkout via either ticking the remove item box located below the item, or changing the quantity required in the Quantity field box. If you want to change your order after you have checked out, please contact us immediately via telephone on 02 9929 8447 or alternatively email enquiries.mail@ergoport.com.au. We cannot change your order if the order has already shipped.

Can I pick up my order at a shop front?

We have an office located in North Sydney where you can pick up your order. We are open Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm, excluding public holidays. Depending on the product, there still may be a freight charge as most of our products are shipped from the manufacturer or supplier. Please contact us on 02 9929 8447 before to confirm pick-up.
