Order Terms

1. Prices

All prices shown on this website are in Australian dollars, and are subject to change without notice, and include GST. Ergoport is a tax registered business (ABN 42 093 910 555) and will provide a tax invoice with all goods sold. The shopping cart will display the total (inc GST) price, and you may view the base (ex GST) price by clicking on any product code or picture. Your order confirmation email will also show the ex- & inc-GST total, and you will receive a Tax Invoice-compliant invoice from us with your delivery. Freight is not included in the prices, and a Freight Estimate is shown further below, and also before you check out. Please note that an order is an offer to purchase, and does not constitute a contract until it is fulfilled.

2. Payment

Credit Card: We accept credit cards from Australian banks (Amex, MasterCard, Visa) without any surcharge. Orders over $2,000 may require you to fax, scan & email, a copy of the credit card front/back with the cardholder's signature on the same page if we are unable to verify your details from a third-party source - we will contact you if this is needed. If you have a non-Australian credit card, we will only be able to accept it if you are able to fax, or scan & email, a copy of the card front & back with your signature and driver's licence nearby. If you provide us with a card in someone else's name, we will need to speak to that person to verify the charge. We normally charge credit cards the same day your order is invoiced.

Bank Deposit: We accept cash or cheques directly to our bank account using Internet Banking or by going into an ANZ Bank branch - place your order using our website first and we will send the bank account details along with an order number to identify your deposit with. If you pay by Internet Banking, your bank will take the money from your account immediately, but will not send it to our bank immediately, and therefore it can take 1-2 business days to show up on our account - goods paid by cheque will ship when the cheque clears.

Money Order: Australia Post money orders can be mailed and are cleared same day they are received by us. Place your order by phoning or emailing us first and we will provide the address details along with an order number to identify your payment.

Cheques: Personal, Company, and bank cheques are accepted by mail or bank deposit provided they clear - this takes 3-4 days for ALL types of cheques. We no longer accept cheques for pickups, unless they clear prior to collection (this takes 3-4 days).

Purchase Orders: We accept Purchase Orders provided an account is setup prior to the order. We can accept Purchase Orders via Email, Fax, or Post. Please contact us via phone or email to obtain a Credit Account Application form. This will need to be approved prior to delivery, and must adhere to our payment terms of Net 30 from invoice date.

3. Freight

Freight in Australia is based on the heavier weight, either dead weight or volume weight. Please see the freight prices as listed below:

Freight Australia wide excluding chairs, and desks:

1 - 2 kg $11 incl. GST

3 - 5 kg $15.50 incl. GST

5- 7 kg $22 incl. GST

7 - 11 kg $55 incl. GST

11- 12 kg $70 incl. GST

13 - 25 kg $95 incl. GST

Gregory & Ergo 3 Chairs ( including GST) per chair:

NSW: Sydney Metro $27.50, NSW Regional $66.00, ACT $44.00

VIC: Melbourne Metro $55.00, VIC Regional $99.00, TAS $71.50

QLD: Brisbane metro & Gold Coast $55.00, QLD Regional POA

SA: Adelaide Metro $66.00, SA Regional POA

WA: Perth Metro $110.00, WA Regional POA

NT: Darwin Metro $154.00, NT Regional POA

Kinnarps & Okamura Chairs, Height Adjustable Desks: Please contact Ergoport via phone or email to obtain freight prices for your area.

4. Delivery

As we use DHL Express as our courier company, we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, and there are no deliveries on weekends. Also, our couriers will not be able to ring you before coming to deliver, and some will need to be present for the delivery during business hours.

If items are in stock (excluding chairs and desks), the delivery times are as follows:

Major Metropolitan cities 1-3 business days

Rural Areas 3-4 business days

Australian chair companies ( Gregory's & Ergo 3 range): Quickship chairs are available for dispatch from the factory within 2 business days. Custom made chairs (modified seat, or fabrics) take between 3-4 weeks for manufacture. Delivery can take up to 15 days (Darwin & Perth). Sydney & Melboure are usually between 2-4 days. Other areas are between these times, but please contact us if you would like a more definite timeframe.

Imported chairs: Kinnarps chairs: Please allow 8-12 weeks for delivery. Okamura Chairs: Please allow 8-10 weeks for delivery.

Desks: As desks have a wide range of custom options, please contact us for timeframes.

We require a contact phone number and email address for all deliveries. Once your order has been shipped , we send a email with the tracking information for your order.

5. Returns

Please choose carefully as we do not refund for incorrect products or if you have changed your mind. If the product you receive is faulty, damaged in transit, or Dead On Arrival when you receive your order, please email returns@ergoport.com.au, within 7 days. Please provide a brief description of the problem, and we will contact you regarding the returns proceedure. Please keep your invoice for proof of purchase. Please do not send any products prior to contacting Ergoport.

If the product is deemed to be damaged or faulty, Ergoport will pay the freight charges to and from the customer.

6. Warranty

If products are purchased from Ergoport and there is a fault during the warranty period that is attributable to manufacturing defect, the parts are replaced or repaired for the original purchaser only. Warranty is not transferable. Warranty does not cover damage to goods caused by customers, or normal wear and tear. If a manufacturer offers more than 12 months warranty, you must deal directly with the manufacturer after the first 12 months has expired.

Some products, which are subject to regular handling whilst in use, like mice, pads, wrist rests, headsets, and keyboards, are not included in our standard warranty - if a product of this type arrives damaged or defective, you have 7 days to return it for replacement. Otherwise, products of this type returned outside this time will be referred to manufacturer/ distributor for replacement/ repair decisions.

For manufacturer's warranty items, such as monitors, customers may need t oreturn them to the manufacturer directly or handling charges may apply.
